Job offer for the position: System Architect

Hertz New Technologies is a leader in advanced anti-drone technologies, specializing in delivering compact and highly effective airspace protection systems. Our solutions, based on modern technologies and advanced engineering, provide reliable security and protection against drone threats. We offer both anti-drone devices and comprehensive systems based on detection sensors, neutralization capabilities, and advanced image analysis software.

We are seeking a System Architect to join our technical team, supporting the development of an anti-drone system. As a System Architect, you will play a key role in defining the system’s design, components, and solutions. You will define the user interface based on the system’s components, create access schemes, and implement security solutions. As a point of contact between system development and business, you will collaborate with vendors at a technical level, establishing common interfaces and test strategies. You will collaborate with a team of programmers and designers, mentoring individual solutions to create a cohesive and reliable system.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

 • Designing and structuring system architecture to ensure compliance with business and technical requirements.

 • Selecting appropriate technologies, database structures, communication protocols, and tools to support system development and maintenance.

 • Defining and overseeing APIs and integrations with both internal and external systems and devices.

 • Ensuring compliance with performance, reliability, security, and availability requirements.

 • Creating container-based service architecture (Docker) and managing virtualized environments (Proxmox).

 • Automating CI/CD deployment processes and monitoring system performance in production.

 • Identifying and analyzing technical risks, especially those related to the integration of third-party components.

 • Ensuring the architecture aligns with applicable industry standards and regulations.

 • Creating and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentation.

 • Collaborating with development, QA, and sales teams; participating in code and deployment reviews.

 • Providing technical mentoring and domain expertise to team members.

 • Monitoring system performance, analyzing logs and metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and initiating architectural improvements.

 • Reporting progress in internal project management systems (JIRA, Tempo).

Requirements

Our requirements:

 • Proven experience in designing modern, scalable IT systems, including component integration, API development (REST, WebSockets), and architecture modeling (UML).

 • Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies (Docker, Proxmox), CI/CD automation (GitLab CI), system monitoring (Grafana), and messaging/event streaming systems (RabbitMQ).

 • Ability to build secure and resilient systems (encryption, authentication, authorization, auditing).

 • Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, Matlab.

 • Openness to new technologies, including practical implementation of AI in system design.

 • Strong communication skills – ability to translate complex technical concepts into language understood by business and project teams.

 • Experience working in multidisciplinary environments – developers, analysts, UX designers, and sales.

 • Ability to lead technical teams, provide mentorship, and make key architectural decisions.

 • Proactive approach to time and priority management, flexibility, and readiness to work in a dynamic technology eniviroment.

Nice to have:
Drone operator license/certification.
