Hertz New Technologies CEO speaks like an expert with 30 years of experience on “Drones still unpunished! Changes are needed to combat them!” ⚠️
In recent months, drones flying unchecked over American bases in Europe, Germany, and USA have raised significant concern. Are these just pranks by young people? Or are they calculated actions by foreign agents scouting targets for a future attack?
This is also a problem for Poland‼️
According to the British Ministry of Defense, the situation has become so serious that about 60 British soldiers, including drone warfare specialists, were deployed to defend these sites.
Pentagon spokesperson Gen. Pat Ryder told reporters that officials are taking these observations very seriously, and drones are being actively monitored. This unchecked activity raises concerns, especially regarding strategic military bases like Ramstein in Germany, or industrial sites such as Rheinmetall AG and BASF.
Drones have also been observed near several strategic U.S. bases, including the American airbase in Ramstein, Germany, and over the buildings of the arms manufacturer Rheinmetall AG and chemical giant BASF. Importantly, none of the drones violating airspace have been shot down or neutralized.
This raises serious concerns! The appearance of drone swarms over American bases is a clear warning sign. What will happen if such a scenario occurs here?
A solution to this type of threat could be Polish anti-drone systems like hasztag#HAWK. This system can take both passive and active actions to detect drones within “vshorades” zones. It may involve using our own drones to shoot down enemy units, redirecting them, or disabling them using nets or electronic countermeasures. Importantly, not all actions need to be kinetic!
In Poland – as in other countries – the law does not keep up with the rapidly changing technological situation and the development of artificial intelligence. There is a lack of effective counter-drone systems in place.
At the end of December, the Polish Parliament passed an amendment to the Aviation Law. The new regulations align Polish law with EU standards and give the relevant authorities – including special services, police, border guards, and military personnel – the ability to: destroy, immobilize drones, take control of the drone’s flight.
